While we are still renovating our building, we are excited to have some events on Memorial Day weekend right outside our door! On Friday, May 22, the Torch Lake Co-op (TLC) is setting up a seedling sale. Browse the sidewalk in front of the Meeting Place + Mercantile, Emma’s Way, and a tent behind our building to get your garden ready for abundance. TLC will have locally grown plants, perfect for Northern Michigan gardens. Not root-bound, not overgrown, just perfectly ready for the growing season. Our growers do not use any pesticides and plants are grown from seed in high-quality soil. There are both heirloom and hybrid varieties to choose from in flowers, herbs, and vegetables. 

We will also have a Crosshatch table where you can purchase goods from local artists and ask our new general manager, Elizabeth Manning all of your questions about the new space. We’ll have information about upcoming events and classes that we are hosting all around Bellaire while we work on renovations. Even if you can’t make it, you can check out TLC and the Meeting Place + Mercantile on Friday mornings at the Bellaire Farmers Market.
