David and Joy Omar of Saltless Sea Creamery have finally found a home for their cheese business.

According to their IndieGoGo site, where they raised over $30,000 toward new facilities, “After 18 months of searching, the the universe gave us a huge vote of confidence; we finally got approval to put our creamery on our home property! Right across the driveway from the house!”

In 2020, Saltless Sea was a Crosshatch/Oryana Micorloan recipient to develop branding and packaging. We are delighted to see them grow and contribute to the local food scene here in Northwest Lower Michigan.
