Vertical Limit

Vertical Limit plays positive, fun music that ranges from rock to jazz influenced by blues, ska and funk. Founding member Rory Callewaert writes their songs, inspired by taking the time to stop and smell the roses. Originally formed in Oceanside, California, with two albums already recorded, this band has been reimagined in Traverse City over the past few years.

Rory’s son, Alex Callewaert adds his psychedelic keyboard style and guitar work. Other band members include Rory’s twin brother, Rod Callewaert, Bruce Winters (drums), and Justin Gargus (bass).

The band is currently in the studio working on songs for the new album to be released sometime soon. Stay tuned.

Grass Napkins

Kevin Paul and Kim Baker met in 2021 and almost instantly started writing music together.  Their original music speaks to the heart of love, loss, trying times, and some cosmic elements as well. With Kevin’s strong guitar skills and well-blended vocal harmonies, there is a lot to love about this band. Growing up in the 90s, Kevin and Kim were both inspired by The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Grateful Dead, The Cranberries, and Ani Difranco.
