Crosshatch and Misty Acres Farm Preserve welcome farmers of all ages and experience to learn, connect and relax this summer. Whether you are already involved on a farm or new to farming, this event is a chance to get inspired and pick up ideas you can use this season and in the future.

You’ll tour the farm and see cattle raised through on pasture where they are moved frequently between small grazing areas (called managment intensive grazing). The host farm wants to listen and learn from farmers raising sheep in a similar manner.

After the tour, everyone will share ideas, stories, and tips. You can ask questions, meet new people, and learn real farming skills from others of all ages and experience. Food and refreshments will be provided.
