This event is open to all who are interested in participating regularly in community gatherings of herb enthusiasts - known as "The NW Michigan Herb Guild”. Please RSVP to , or text Patti@heartwoodforestfarm.com or call 231-492-5002.  We need to know how many people are attending so we can plan ingredients and space accordingly.

Join Crosshatch and the NW Michigan Herb Guild during an informal gathering where we can reconnect after a busy summer and make some fire cider for the upcoming season (fire cider is a vinegar infused with herbs and other vegetable ingredients).  Organic and local ingredients will be provided by Heartwood Forest Farm and other local farms. We will work from a basic recipe that you can tweak to your desires.  Please bring a pint-sized jar to take your fire cider home with you.

Directions to "The Crows Nest"  Please use the west side entrance to 414 E 8th Street near the ramp. This entrance will be open for a program at the Alluvion that evening.  The room is on the third floor.
