Gather with us for a tour of Daybreak Dreamfarm. Farmers, Kelly Doyle and Patrick Scharinger, will take us through their small, diversified farm operation, highlighting their production of shiitake, oyster and lion’s mane mushrooms. The tour will also include a walk-about through the hoophouses, fields and gardens to discuss small-scale veggie and flower production.

Pat and Kelly’s vision started in 2010 in the backwoods of Maine, when Kelly and Pat first met working for the Maine Conservation Corps. fter an internship at Pond Hill Farm their Dreamfarm presented itself in the Pleasant Valley of East Jordan. Formerly a trout farm, the Daybreak Dreamfarm land holds three ponds fed by a rolling stream, 16 acres of previously grazed open field, and open-ended possibilities for fruitful growth and production.
