It's field trip season! The Crosshatch Grain Guild will be exploring how flour is stone ground at the windmill "De Zwaan," in Holland, MI on Windmill Island. The flour is ground from a soft white winter wheat proudly grown by West Michigan farmers. We'll get a chance to talk to the miller about how the mill can get through 2500 pounds of flour in one day when the conditions are right.
SCHEDULE:
12pm Lunch in Holland at De Boer Bakkerij (Uses the mill's flour!)
1:15pm Tour at Windmill Island
$9/person at the door
