Artist After Hours: Film Short & Olives and Wine

  • State Theater 223 East Front Street Traverse City, MI, 49684 United States (map)

Join Crosshatch and Blackbird Arts for Artist After Hours—a social event for artists of all genres: writers, visual artists, musicians, performers, and designers.

This month Artist After Hours sets their sights on film — at the STATE THEATRE! We are very excited to partner with this Traverse City icon for a collection of short films called “The Power of Nature” series from Stone Hut Studios and Heart of the Lakes about individuals whose lives have been deeply affected by living near The Great Lakes. We will walk to Olives and Wine for some unscheduled time to network with fellow artists.

Bring your friends and prepare to make new ones!

This event is free, but please RSVP.

Artist After Hours is a social event for artists of all genres — writers, visual artists, musicians, performers, and designers. Artist After Hours supports the collaboration of artists and encourages mutual support within a peer-to-peer network. Get inspired, ask questions, meet your neighbors, and have some fun.

The State Theatre and Bijou by the Bay present the very best new movies, with world-class picture, screen, and sound — right downtown. Plus, they bring so many classic and special films to our big screens with 16,000 watt Dolby Digital sound that we end up showing over 400 different films annually! Academy Award-winning director Michael Moore is their volunteer programmer, selecting the best of cinema's present and past for you to watch in the most comfortable seats you can find anywhere — and they were made right here in Michigan!
