A Celebration of the Guilds!
Crosshatch instituted guilds over four years ago. What started as small, informal groups of people hanging out and discussing their hobbies, has turned into slightly larger, more organized groups of people pooling their resources to save money, swap skills, and make friends. Current guilds exist for beekeepers, small farmers, fruit & nut growers, mushroom growers, grain growers, fiber folks, herbalists, goat enthusiasts, and green builders.
Join us for a celebration of the guilds. We'll enjoy an evening of warming food and adult beverages — soup from Oryana Community Co-op (thank you Oryana!) — and rapid-fire presentations on models of other organized groups, what the guilds have done and where they're headed. This is a time to learn from other guilds and socialize with each other.
Bring a friend or two who might be interested in joining a guild!
This is a free event, but you must RSVP no later than Feb 21.
Carpool options may be available if you are coming from the Petoskey area - contact Jen for more information.
